We give thanks to the many beautiful, dedicated yogic souls who submitted stories for this book in which we couldn't fit everyone! Their stories may soon be seen on this website or in our future books. For FUTURE BOOKS, there are 3 writing choices: You may write your story yourself or you may email us, whereby we interview you by email and write your story for you (you get to approve the final copy). or we can tape record your story in person or by phone. For the first, please email your enchanting, story (3 or more pages) to yogastories@yahoo.ca and help transform the lives of others. Tell your story as you would graphically tell it to a friend or audience--with chronology, dialogue, a beginning, middle and end; almost like a movie. Your story paints the scenes! The story should be chronological, personal, emotional, heartwarming and all about you and how your life and outlook completely changed. if you feel you have a story about how yoga transformed your life this radically, please email it to us as a Word document. Please include the following details: 1. The magical story of how yoga transformed your Self and your life (including your lifestyle beforehand). 2. How yoga (eg. via the asanas, meditation, pranayama, mudras, etc.) affected you, over time, from a mind, body and/or spiritual level. 3. How yoga affected your lifestyle, your life in general, your life's mission or purpose or your outlook on life. 4. How yoga has helped you and/or friends/students have a beneficial impact in this world in some way. 5. Your e-mail, phone number, and snail mail address in order to contact you for further details 6. The charity you want to donate to, plus permission to utilize your story in our book and/or website.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and experiences. We aim to publish as many stories as possible, in future books, and on our website. If your story goes into one of our books, you will be sent a free copy and may choose which charity you'd like your honorarium to go to. Sales will help to fund charities of each author's choice.
